Yes... we are still working, not just holidaying..

This is Comedor 64, Johan has been assigned as Project Manager 2 to assist Ron Connor. Comedor 64 is sponsored by this adjoining church. A cute bamboo church. It will serve to feed the children in the community.

Front of the church
Inside of the church Ron Connor, twisitng wires for the columns, for better resistance against the earthquake as seen below sticking out of the ground...
The building site of Comedor 64
THE machine... aka the hungry monster... only a few are allowed near this machine. Very precious.

Feeding the monster...

Mixing the cement... and cleaning up after that is great fun...

Part of cement pouring... somehow this job is very popular and people are more than happy to do this. They are always more than enough people willing to pour cement. Strange.. no idea why they LOVE this task...
Johan filling up the trenches with cement.
Have to be careful not to spill the precious cement out of the form boards...
Waiting in line...
Here is the maestro (master) laying bricks and building the wall. Here we are working alongside with local contractors and we are being supervised on what we do. We just lending a hand to build.

Brick transportor.. :)

Moving bricks... and building a pyramid. It is a new challenging game... :)

So if anyone out there.. have got some extra time and passing through Pisco.. stop by at Jose Balta, near Pisco Playa.. you´ll see Burners center camp.. Any sort of help is more than welcome... JOIN IN THE FUN..
