The Baby foot Challenge in Sicily!

This is one of the big challenge for our trip in Sicily.. Johan's challenge to be exact.. :)

We were about to have dinner but we were not hungry yet so we went for a little walk and decided to enter this bar... Cool bar ya? Very nicely decorated. In this bar, there are also video games and baby foot table. The 'thing' is that Tiziana is a Champion in Baby Foot and a 'girl' who has talents in baby foot is rare. In the beginning we played together and I was TERRIBLE at this game.. I just can react fast enough and I can seem to get the ball to roll any faster... ya so I'm really lousy at this game.. Of course whoever played with my lost badly... (Not a good babyfoot partner. Need training! ) So I felt really bad..

After a few double team games, the best of the best decides to challenge each other.. So here they are in action. As you can see they are really into their game.. A very quick game, fast and furious... you can hear the ball moving.. They were playing really well that once in a while we had spectators. hahahah..kids came to watch two grown adult really playing and challenging. :)
Check out Johan's fiery eyes.. Really got them fixed on the ball. Head in the game. It was a very close game.. however Yoyo lost this match due to few reasons.

Main reason is that Italian's babyfoot table is made of different materials compared to French babyfoot table which therefore makes the game very VERY fast. No time to see where the ball went.

Another reason is that the rules are totally different between what HE plays and what SHE plays. We were playing HER rules cos it's in their country.. fair enough. Some of Italian rules are not allowed in French rules and Viceversa. So Yoyo is taken off guard a lot of time. Things that he is usually not allowed to do in his game, She does it. Since we're playing on Italy's ground we play according to their rules and regulations... :)

Just before having dinner (to work up the appetite) at her parent's home. The table was at her sister's place (parent's neighbour - how convenient)

Another tough game but seems like Yoyo is getting the hang of things and playing with the Italian rules... He gives it his best... So is She.. They are playing their very best as both of them are WINNERS at heart!

Finally after a few rounds and challenge after challenge.... YOYO has WON!!! He is the CHAMPION.. YAY! (The crowd's cheer) It was a good game and Tiziana was impressed. Both were very sporting and played fair and well. (now Yoyo can sleep well at night! ;0) )

AFTER DINNER

They decided to have another match.. Double team. Since I was really lousy at it.. I didn't want to play (sore loser, I know) So Johan had to have a new partner. Not too bad.

Very fast game as this time it's double team.. so the ball and the game is double the speed. Can't even see the ball. Before we know it, it's a score of either team. It eventually started as just a game to play BUT....................

BUT...................................

It got HOT and the GAME begins.. ANOTHER challenge.. hahahaha.. it never ends!

The guys were really into the game that they got too hot and decided to take their shirts of. At one point we were shouting and screaming, her father had to ask us to keep it down.. opppsss...

Here, the teams played a good tough game. However there has to be a winner... Guess who?????

Johan played so hard that he had blisters and wrist sprain after the game!!!!
