Premiere TV / First TV Interview

Hier , nous sommes retourner voir Monsieurle Maire! A la Mairie se deroulait un concours de chansons d'éleves ! C'etait Mardi 11h du mat. Apres 30min a attendre, en chansons , comme de chiens de garde devant son bureau, il est sorti et nous avons reussi a lui parler 10minutes! Il nous enfin ecouter et nous avons obtenu une partie de ce que nous voulions!
Yesterday we went back to ‘harrass’ the Mayor. When we arrived at the town council, there was a singing competition for the students. It was Tuesday, 11am. After 30 mins of waiting and listening to the songs.. like guard dogs infront of his office. As soon as he came out, we managed to speak to him for 10 mins. He finally listened to what we needed and wanted to say.

En attendant , les journalistes sont venus nous voir et HOP , 15min apres, nous etions interviewes sur les lieux de l'école pour passer dans le journal du soir!
1ere interview , 1ere TV pour moi en tant que prof!!! Le probleme des premieres , c'est quqnd elles arrivent toutes en meme temps! Pourquoi? car pendant le premiere interviwew, 1ere TOURISTA aussi....donc j'avais un sourire asse z jaune sur la camera! J'avais peur qu'en faisant trop d'efforts pour parler espagnol , J'oubli de contracter mes muscles posterieurs! Tout s'est bien termine, jái eu le temps de courrir jusqu'a la maison apres l'interview!
While we were waiting some journalists came and a few mins later we were interviewed in the school which is still under construction.. (well Johan and MT to be exact.. I just stand there and smile at the camera!) It was suppose to be for the news that night.. unfortunately we don’t have that channel at the house so we can’t watch it. Johan felt pretty nervous as he had to be interviewed and speak in Spanish. But I think he did pretty well… at least better than a standing statue like me.. :P

Ce matin, nous sommes repartis en ville tels de vrais commerciaux! On a distribue affiches publicitaires , tracts dans tous les hotels, agences de voyages et autres stations de bus!!! et devinez quoi, nous avons eu notre PREMIERE INSCRIPTION pour un cours de francais!!! Aussi, le DEUXIEME interview TV car la TV concurrente nous a attrape dans la rue ce matin!
En effet, ils ont vu le reportage d'hier soir et se sont donc rues sur nous pour faire comme la chaine voisine!
This morning MT and Johan went to town do the the marketing and advertising for the school. They gave out brochures and pamphlets in the hotels, travel agencies, and bus stations. And GUESS WHAT?! We have our first registration and with CA$H too for French courses. Followed by a SECOND TV interview cos the other tv channels now want an interview as to have the same as the previous tv channel that has interviewed us the day before. Didn’t want to loose.. sooo.. This gives good publicity for the Language centre

Les nouvelles sont bonnes, l'affaire se developpe....je redeviens commercial....ca fait pas de mal...

There’s good news and the business is developing.. Johan went back to his roots.. Marketing and he’s doing a good job at that too

Ok time to go. It’s time to fill up the water barrels.. it’s THE alternate day when we have water for about an hour.. not even..
